One of Jaguar Conservation Fund / Instituto Onça-Pintada objectives is to train professionals and students in field methods and techniques to study jaguars in the wild.

The internships are offered in five study areas: Amazon, Araguaia River, Cerrado, Pantanal and Caatinga for students and professionals from the Biology, Veterinary, Ecology or related areas, interested in gaining experience with field research.

The minimum period of internship is 30 days, but preference is given to requests for longer than 90 days and/or candidates who have completed advanced degrees.
